If there’s one thing a woman never wants to find out about the man she’s seeing, it’s that he’s married. Unfortunately for Aubrey O’Day, that’s exactly what happened. “I was just a seeing a guy, but I found out he was married,” Aubrey told Life & Style at the Verizon LG Revolution 4G LTE Smartphone launch event in LA on Aug. 17. “It’s so creepy, I can’t even speak of it.”

The 27-year-old revealed that her bad relationships have inspired her creatively. “I think most of my writing usually touches on some amount of pain that I’ve had,” she tells Life & Style. “I think that’s when you make the greatest emotional connection with your audience.”

Before this relationship, Aubrey dated DJ Cassidy and was rumored to have dated New Kids on the Block member Donnie Wahlberg. “I have high confidence in the beginning of relationships because I expect a lot from myself, and I certainly wouldn’t allow a guy into my life who doesn’t live up to those expectations,” Aubrey once said. “If you are going to invest yourself in all that a relationship takes, you have to be with someone who brings you up and pushes you forward, not someone who holds you back.”

While Jay-Z and Kanye West’s new album ‘Watch The Throne’ sits at number on in 23 countries, Aubrey O’Day has claimed that the LP isn’t a “classic hip-hop album”.

The former Danity Kane star tweeted about their new album yesterday ahead of her part in Los Angeles, and she wrote: “I am the biggest Jay Z fan… but Watch the Throne needed to be 5 songs less to be a classic hip hop album. Anyone feel me?”

Not everyone agreed with her, as one fan replied: “r u crazy. The album is great by itself. No need to take anything put #smh”

But her fans were behind her, as one fan called AubreyODaysArmy tweeted the star: “Aubrey Your Right its not Their best work.”

Pop vixen Aubrey O’Day continued to show her on-going support for the gay community this weekend, when she hosted a Pride celebration at the Shark Club in Costa Mesa, California.

Ms. O’Day looks good and all, but an update on her album wouldn’t go amiss. The material was sounding hot tamale. Yet, all has gone noticeably silent since the end of Oxygen’s ‘All About Aubrey’ and the announcement of her record deal with SRC/Universal.

Aubrey O’Day makes it her life’s work to wear as little clothing as possible and went to the LG Revolution/Verizon party at Hollywood’s Sayers Club Wednesday in a tight little dress. Her dress choice is pink, black and silver striped with a lingerie-esque feel and although it looked okay, it doesn’t quite fit her chest properly.

Her boobs are always on display so that’s nothing new, but the dress seems to be pushing them down and smooshing them a little too much to be attractive. Didn’t you look in the mirror before you went out, Aubrey? Not digging the black mesh stripes either.

And whatever happened to singing? Why are you even famous now?

The whole Casey Anthony case is a very sad, heavily-sensationalized part of the 24/7 news cycle that can’t get enough stories regarding any combination of three things: attractive women, the death of children, and murder. It’s super-gross and also unfortunate evidence that our media loves nothing more than to fawn over the most macabre stories that deal with twisted events that involve pretty, “all-American” girls (see: Natalee Holloway, Laci Peterson, and JonBenet Ramsey).

Even more tragic, however, is that we live in a world in which microblogging your feelings has become so mainstream, so accepted as part of the infotainment cycle, that we now bear witness to reading opinions on current events from people who may be the least qualified to produce a dignified, critical response. Buzzfeed compiled a comprehensive list featuring [mostly] inane, ridiculous Twitter responses from celebrities regarding the jury ruling that Anthony was not guilty of murder (to bring you up to speed, Jermaine Dupri thinks the verdict is “shocking,” Frankie Muniz “called it” weeks ago, and Joe Rogan thinks Casey Anthony is a “f*cking crazy b*tch”).

But the worst of all these responses from the rich and moderately famous comes courtesy of Aubrey O’Day, singer and reality star (cool title!), who was really shaken up by the injustice:

Aubrey O’Day’s Oxygen reality show ‘All About Aubrey’ saw the former Danity Kane star remind her audience of why they gravitated towards her. Now, as she works on her Universal Music (SRC) debut, ‘Hitchhiker’ -a track which served a staple on the show – has surfaced in full. It is unknown if the Adonis helmed cut will feature on her as yet untitled LP (due later this year).

Yours truly was not an ardent of the song in its snippet form, and the full version did little to change that.

Still in terms of genre and composition, the track most certainly is the type of music the 27 year old should be making if success is the name of the game. As such, her album remains one of That Grape Juice’s most anticipated.

The party girls are back. Shanell is reuniting with Aubrey O’Day for a sequel to their ’80s jam “Party All the Time.”

The Young Money songstress and former Danity Kane diva have been busy with their own projects, but are finding time to record a continuation to their 2009 cover of Eddie Murphy and Rick James’ 1985 hit. “That is the reunion of ‘Party All of the Time,’” Shanell told Rap-Up.com of the as-yet-untitled record. “We started something and we’re gonna get back in and finish. I think we’re both party girls so it will still have that party essence.”

The result may appear on Shanell’s upcoming mixtape Nobody’s Bitch, the follow-up to last year’s Shut Up and Listen. “It’s gonna be a real fun mixtape,” she said. “I think Shut Up and Listen was more laid-back. Nobody’s Bitch is gonna be the party girl, the party animal.”

In addition to Aubrey, she’s collaborating with some new talent. “I’m not really one to follow any trends that somebody else already set, so there’s a lot of new producers I’ve met along the way that I believe in and collaborated with for the sound of Shanell to take over the airwaves.”

Shanell serves as artistic director on Lil Wayne’s “I Am Still Music” tour, which starts its second leg on July 13 in Hartford, Conn.
